Overview

Our Hemeldepot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work a night shift (must have Class 2 HGV Driving Licence / Class 1 preferred).

You'll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. You'll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

Responsibilities

• You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You'll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

Qualifications

• A completed secondary vocational education.
• A broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
• An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
• Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.

You will be required to provide your own tool-kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).

Shift

Shift Times - Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 06:00 hrs. Overtime available.
