Qualifications

• Must have experience servicing, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to prepare vehicles for tests and perform road tests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the company fleet of LGV/LCV vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for annual tests and ensure roadworthiness.
• Work out of hours for breakdowns as needed.

Skills

Experience in commercial workshop servicing vehicles

Knowledge of vehicle parts

Health and Safety knowledge

Education

City & Guilds certificate in Motor Vehicle Craft Studies or NVQ equivalent

Full UK Driving Licence

IRTEC certificate of competence
