A leading global transportation company is seeking an HGV Technician in Banbury. The role offers pay of up to £21 per hour, alongside a £1000 signing bonus after 6 months. Responsibilities include conducting MOT inspections and repairing trucks. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Repair and experience with commercial vehicles. HGV Technician - Banbury at Volvo Trucks — up to £21 per hour (dependent upon your skill set) with a £1000 signing bonus (paid after 6 months’ service - direct applicants).
Shift information: 0600hrs to 1430hrs / 1400hrs to 2230hrs; plus alternative Saturday mornings at overtime, time and a half.
You will be carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks. Tasks include fault finding and carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, etc. Completing paperwork such as job cards and service sheets using Volvo’s in-house systems.
