Job summary

A leading equipment rental company in the UK is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to maintain its fleet in Cookstown. The role includes routine maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring high service standards. This offers a salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy vehicles including low loaders and rigid trucks.
• Experience working on diesel engines.
• Ability to weld would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on a fleet of heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Deliver high customer service and assist with roadside breakdowns.
• Ensure service records are completed accurately.
