About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Team Ipsum at our site in Wrexham. We require you to have previous Plant Operating and hold a HGV 2 Licence, ideally within the Utilities or Construction Industry. You will be responsible for overseeing and controlling HGV/Plant machinery associated equipment used in substation activities. This role ensures that operations conform to all safety standards and laws, including relevant client network requirements and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards; report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.


• Monitor service and inspection regimes and times, collaborating with team members to ensure the functionality of required work.

About You

• Previous experience as a HGV 2 / Hiab / Plant Operator in a similar role.


• Strong understanding of plant machinery and HGV vehicles and equipment.


• Valid UK Driving Licence and/or appropriate certification to operate heavy machinery and equipment; technical certification such as Level 2 NVQ advantageous.
