Qualifications

Base pay range: £45,838.00 per annum (£881.50 p/w + O/T). Job type: Full Time, Permanent. Working hours: 5:30am – 3:30pm, 47.5 hours per week + overtime, Monday to Friday only.

Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Essex, RM13 9PF.

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder and reinforcement fabricator requires HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers working from their head office in Rainham, Essex. This role offers a competitive rate of pay, a dynamic and friendly working environment, and a secure position within an established company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Being presentable, professional, reliable and honest
  • Adhering to working time regulations
  • Pre-use vehicle inspection checks and defect reporting
  • Ensuring goods are safely secured
  • Multi‑drop deliveries to London and the Home Counties
  • Loading and unloading
  • Meeting delivery schedules
  • Keeping vehicles in good condition
Qualifications
  • Must have a valid Class 2 (category C) licence
  • Must hold a CPC card and a Digi Tachograph card
  • Previous experience completing multi‑drop deliveries
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Must have a good command of the English language
