HGV Class 1 Driver with Moffett (Nights)

Hours: Full-time

Shift: Sunday to Thursday

Duration: Permanent

Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Coalville. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service. The night shift will include the use of a Moffett Truck Licence.

*** As this role requires the use of a Moffett Licence please note that full training is provided for your Moffett Licence. This is a certified qualification that is awarded***

The Details:
  • Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday Nights
  • Monthly Pay
  • Parking Onsite
HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:
  • General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations
  • Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
  • Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
  • Assisting with loading and unloading
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:
  • A full UK C+E licence
  • 12 months previous class 1 driving experience is desirable
  • Excellent driving skills
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
