Role Overview

Leonardo is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) for Leonardo Saudi Arabia Ltd (LDOS) as part of a team based in KSA. In this role you will provide direct support for the avionics equipment installed on the customer’s helicopters operating in KSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support for avionics equipment installed on the customer’s helicopters operating in KSA.
  • Provide technical expertise related to the defensive aid system installed on the helicopters, support troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults on the Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) equipment.
  • Interpret data from onboard and ground‑based systems and provide associated guidance.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, site‑specific governance, and applicable legislation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the customer, prime contractor and other partner organisations.
  • Maintain all required training, authorisations, and documentation (e.g., vaccinations, passports, visas) to ensure ongoing eligibility.
  • Support the customer’s operational requirements as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in an engineering capacity with aircraft and/or in an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Customer‑focused mindset balancing priorities with business needs.
  • Clear, professional communication with diverse stakeholders across levels and cultures.
  • Full UK Category B driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work shifts – primarily day shifts, occasional alternative shifts.
Desirable
  • Experience with ESM/ECM equipment at Maintenance Levels 1 and 2.
  • Knowledge of RF principles and advanced radar theory.
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience with military helicopters.
  • Experience operating in offsite locations, such as customer facilities or remote support environments.

Specialist product domain knowledge is not required – you will be supported by a strong team dedicated to learning.

This is not an exhaustive list; we also value a good attitude and willingness to learn.

This role requires pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional National Security Vetting (NSV) applies, including the Security Check (SC).
