Overview

As a Healthcare Assistant with Huntley Care, you will:

  • Support service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility, manual handling, and the safe use of equipment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to promote well-being.
  • Support with meal preparation and feeding where required.
  • Monitor, record, and report changes in health or behaviour.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, support workers, families, and other professionals.
Essential requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (days/nights/weekends).
  • Up-to-date training certificates (or willingness to complete training).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
