Personal/Home Care Assistant

I am recruiting two Personal Assistants to support & assist my husband with personal care, everyday living activities and therapies following a traumatic brain injury. He is 69 and enjoys music, TV & films, snooker & pool and going out when possible. You will be working in our home but also required to assist in outside activities to provide a fulfilling life.

Requirements
  • Full and clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Very good standard of English.
  • Care experience preferred; life experience essential.
  • Enhanced DBS (Police check) required; Employer will meet cost.
Work schedule

18-30 hours per week, three shifts Monday to Saturday. Specific days and hours will be subject to discussion to fit the team and availability. Flexibility required to cover sick and holiday.

Compensation
  • £14.15 an hour.
  • 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
  • Pension if eligible.
Training and references

Full certificated training will be provided on all aspects of the role. References will be taken following a successful interview and offer is not confirmed until references are received.
