A local tennis club in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Head Coach to develop and deliver a high-quality coaching program. This role involves leading a team of coaches, increasing membership engagement, and managing club operations. Candidates should possess strong coaching skills, community outreach experience, and ideally hold a Level 3 coaching qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate coach to enhance the program in a supportive environment, starting March 2026.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to fulfil the role of head coach. You must be a professional, reliable and motivated team player with a positive “can do/hands on” attitude. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive coach to shape and grow the programme within a supportive and ambitious club environment.
Palmerston Lawn Tennis Club is a vibrant and inclusive tennis club based in Mossley Hill in South Liverpool. The club offers six courts, 3 astro turf and 3 artificial clay. We have a proud tradition of promoting inclusive and competitive tennis and are looking for an ambitious and dynamic individual, who has a genuine passion for tennis, to lead and enhance the coaching programme. Our aim is that our coaching programme will be professional, inclusive, and visible, offering clear pathways for juniors and adults of all levels by building a strong team of enthusiastic coaches, improving communication and accessibility, and creating engaging opportunities for both social and competitive play.
Ideally you will have several years experience of coaching in a club environment, either as a head coach at a small club or assistant at a larger club. Knowledge and experience of the LTA's Player Pathway would be advantageous as would experience of performance players.
