A leading drainage and civil engineering company in the UK is seeking a Head of Reactive Maintenance. This permanent, full-time role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in civil engineering to ensure efficient project delivery. Location: Flexible – based at any Glanville Environmental depot in Somerset, Devon or Cornwall, with regular travel across operational sites.
Contract: Permanent, full‑time.
Pay: Competitive salary + company car plus benefits.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will ensure reactive and fast‑tracked maintenance projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards while meeting internal and external KPI’s. This senior leadership role combines technical expertise in civil engineering and “no‑dig” technologies with exceptional people‑management skills. You will mentor and develop your team, drive operational efficiency, maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
