Overview

We are looking for a Head Cook to prepare meals that are nourishing and well presented. Create seasonal menus based on input from residents, families and management, taking into consideration dietary requirements and ensuring the kitchen is clean and compliant with all regulations.

Rate of Pay: £16.20 to £16.55 per hour

Duties And Responsibilities
  • To compile seasonal menus with input from residents, families and the Home Manager that are varied and suitable for residents, considering backgrounds, culture and dietary requirements.
  • Deliver excellence in meal times and dining room/mealtime experience and presentation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and hygienic appearance of the kitchen; maintain high food standards and meet health and safety regulations; monitor practices to uphold a high standard.
  • Adhere to budgets and effective finance controls.
  • Manage and develop your kitchen team, including supervision, appraisals and inducting new members.
Essential Skills, Characteristics And Experience
