As a Grain Merchandiser, you will have the opportunity to work directly with some of America’s best farmers and commercial grain companies, exploring other grain merchandising opportunities in our draw areas.

Grain Merchandisers are responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships and creating solutions to meet their needs, which may include customized marketing plans and on-farm visits. Team members will understand grain weighing and grading procedures, CBOT futures markets, fundamental and technical market factors, basis levels, market structure, carrying costs, and freight spreads. They monitor the competitiveness of cash grain bids and other factors affecting the net selling price, keeping leadership informed of grain movements and local news impacting buying efforts. The ability to explain, educate, and communicate this information effectively to customers is essential.
