A leading veterinary clinic in Bangor is seeking a Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to provide care for small animals. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship within a supportive environment. At Rathgael Veterinary Clinic, we offer the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and experienced team of vets, nurses, and support staff in a supportive and progressive environment. Although predominantly based at Rathgael, we have two other branch surgeries that you may work out of occasionally, Garden Lodge Holywood and Stormont.

We are a strong and supportive team of seven vets, ten nurses and two ACA’s, as well as a fantastic support and administrative team. Within our team we have certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery & Orthopaedics, Vet Advanced GP and a nurse with an advanced certificate in Anaesthesia.

Practice facilities and equipment include digital X‑ray, ultrasound scanner, dental suite including X‑ray, laser therapy, a fully equipped laboratory and much more.

You will work 40 hours per week, and shifts will be between our opening hours of 8:30 am‑7 pm on a shift pattern with some Saturdays 9 am‑12 pm on a rota.

You will have a mentor and VetGDP Advisor to provide you with fantastic support in practice as a new graduate in the team.
