The Opportunity:
  • SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • £480 - £510 per week(term-time only)
  • Secondary School in Bristol (BS13)
  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday, for the full academic year
  • StartASAPuntilJuly 2026 -As a minimum
  • Perfect for graduates looking to gain classroom experience before teacher training
What We’re Looking For:
  • Adegree (2:2 or above), with a genuine passion for supporting students with learning difficulties
  • Previous experience working with young people with learning difficulties (preferred but not essential)
  • Friendly, confident, and enthusiasticpersonality
  • Commitment toinclusionandequal opportunities
  • Ability to relate to young people, with an understanding of their needs
  • Ability to workeffectively as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with theirpersonal needsand implement related programmes (you’ll need to be comfortable with personal care tasks)
  • Provide support forindividual studentsinside and outside the classroom to ensure they fully participate in activities
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with students, supporting their emotional and academic growth
  • Maintain high expectations that every student will makesustained progressboth academically and personally
  • Support students to beready for the next steps in their learningand to contribute confidently to classroom activities
