Job summary

A leading prosthetics manufacturer is seeking a Graduate Prosthetist to join their team at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. This position offers a structured graduate training program, ongoing clinical support, and numerous professional development opportunities in a rewarding environment focused on innovation in prosthetics. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics, HCPC registration, and some clinical experience. Opportunities for dual practice and additional benefits enhance this role.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Desirable: BAPO or ISPO.
  • Experience in lower limb prosthetics.
  • Experience in delivering prosthetic clinics.
  • Desire to be involved in audit or service evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver prosthesis as required.
  • Manage patient expectations and keep them informed.
  • Maintain clinical notes and records.
  • Keep an up-to-date CPD Portfolio.
  • Participate in training courses arranged by the company.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.

Skills

Degree qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics
HCPC registration
Experience in lower limb prosthetics
Experience delivering prosthetic clinics
Audit or service evaluation experience
