Overview

Role: Graduate Project Manager at Tetra Tech Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Project Management Team and work on high-profile projects across water, environment, infrastructure, defence, energy, and international development. The graduate will join the existing Project and Cost Management team and will be involved in managing projects, working with clients and stakeholders, and delivering projects through the full project lifecycle. The early careers programme provides mentoring, Chartership support, and opportunities to connect with others starting their careers, with training to develop core professional skills.

Job Description: This is an exciting new opportunity to join the expanding Project Management Team. You will work with high-performing teams to solve complex problems across several sectors and disciplines, delivering high-quality services for multiple projects and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in delivering projects with values ranging from £1m to £500m across Public and Private sectors
  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Ensuring internal governance is adhered to
  • Assisting in the management and delivery of construction projects
  • Assisting in the development of works and resource management
  • Controlling project costs
  • Managing project risk
  • Facilitating project progress meetings with the project team
  • Implementing change control management
  • Client and stakeholder liaison
  • Eligibility for Government Security Clearance
  • Supporting senior staff in delivering business objectives
Qualifications/Skills
  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Project Management or construction related degree
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Project (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with a professional and ethical approach
  • Team player with ability to deliver multiple projects to deadlines and build relationships
  • Suitability for Security clearance
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and overseas if required
  • Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle
  • Welsh speaker preferred
