A regional education support agency in Wales is looking for a Governor Support Officer to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and provide high-quality support. The role involves minute taking, meeting planning, and record keeping, with a flexible schedule including two evenings a week during term time. Suitable candidates will demonstrate efficiency and good communication skills. This position offers a salary between £28,142 and £29,540 pro rata.
Salary: Grade 6 Point 11 to Point 14 £28,142 to £29,540 per annum pro rata £14.58 to £15.31 per hour
Job description
To provide high quality support to enable governing bodies to act within statutory and legal requirements and producing accurate minutes of governing body and committee meetings within the required timescales. There will be an expectation to work two evenings per week term time only.
