Job summary

A growing charity in climate change is seeking an Events Manager to lead and plan international events, including the Degrees Global Forum. The role is fully remote within the UK and requires extensive experience in event management and strong organisational skills. The successful candidate will oversee event logistics and budgets, support cross-team collaboration, and contribute to impactful climate discussions. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits including pension contributions and professional development support.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience, five of which are in managing international events.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex, multi-day international events.
  • Experience organising hybrid or virtual international events.
  • Strong record in team leadership and financial management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of international events.
  • Manage all event logistics including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with various teams and external partners.
  • Track lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Capture post-event communications and reporting.
