Are you passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and helping every child thrive?

We are looking to appoint a Thrive Practitioner to provide targeted, effective support for our children with SEMH needs so they feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

The post holder will work with children from Foundation Stage to Year 6 to support their SEMH and wellbeing needs therefore experience in Thrive provision with primary aged children is essential. The Thrive Practitioner will work in partnership with the SENDCo and teachers to build secure relationships with children and to provide positive experiences which improve behaviour, attendance and learning outcomes.

The hours are 30 hours per week (6 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.15pm). The role is term time only (38 weeks per year).

The pay scale is set at KSD (£26,393 for a full time position), which equates to approximately £18,174 per annum pro rata.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Thrive qualification or be willing to undertake this. We also require a good standard of general education and GCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above. Verification of qualifications will be required before employment can commence so please do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificate.

A formal thirty minute interview will take place with a panel comprising of a Head of School and a SENDCo. Candidates will also be required to provide a thirty minute Thrive-based activity to a group of children.
