A family-run garden centre business is seeking a Team Leader Plants in Morpeth, England. The role requires excellent customer service skills and 2 years of plant knowledge. The successful candidate will manage the plant area, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. We are looking for a Team leader Plants to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role and some heavy lifting will be involved. Forklift truck license would be an advantage although not essential as training will be given.
Experience in building or similar retail experience is preferred.
2 years of plant knowledge a must, previous work within horticulture required.
