A leading charity for rehabilitation in Redditch seeks a Gambling Therapist to provide crucial therapeutic support for individuals recovering from gambling addiction. The role involves delivering therapy using CBT and other methods, managing case notes, and ensuring holistic care. Candidates should have a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and relevant experience. We’re looking for a Gambling Therapist to provide vital therapeutic support to individuals recovering from gambling addiction. You’ll support residents from assessment through to aftercare, helping them work towards long-term recovery and independent living.
Deliver one-to-one and group therapy using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centred approaches
Manage a caseload and maintain accurate case notes
Work closely with the wider team to ensure seamless care and support
Identify and manage risks, safeguard concerns, and referrals
Contribute to programme development and continuous improvement
Level 4 Diploma in Counselling (BACP registered)
Training in CBT and/or Motivational Interviewing
Experience in addiction, mental health, or residential care settings
Strong communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills
Commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care
Ongoing training and professional development
