Job summary

A health service provider in the UK is seeking an Assessment Nurse to conduct Functional Assessments. The role requires a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience as an NMC registered adult Nurse or as an HCPC registered Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic. Qualifications

  • At least 12 months UK-based post registration experience as an NMC registered adult Nurse or HCPC registered Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic.
  • Experience of treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
  • Good typing skills and proficiency in IT tools for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Functional Assessments for various activities related to work capability.
  • Conducting clinical triage of completed forms and supporting documents.
  • Obtaining additional evidence through active listening and appropriate questions.
  • Producing accurate and detailed reports for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
  • Liaising with clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector.
  • Collaborating with colleagues for high-quality service to claimants.
