A local coffee shop in Penwortham is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service and manage the store. The role includes acting as a key holder, taking orders, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates should be enthusiastic, have strong customer service skills, and be willing to work weekends. Job Title: Barista (key holder) - Full Time or Part Time applications will be considered.
Salary: Competitive salary + plus other benefits
Hours: We have full time hours available however we are open to offering the position to someone on anything between 15 hours and 37.5 hours per week. Shifts will generally be 9.15am to 5pm on week days and 8.45am to 4.30pm on weekends.
Ideally successful candidate full-time will be available on either Saturday and Sunday, however we are open to the idea of two part time candidates dividing up the hours and each working one weekend day.
Location: We are recruiting for this role in our Penwortham location.

Take food orders and serve food to customers
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including coffee machines, equipment, and front-of-house areas
Clear and clean tables promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment for our valued customers
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about our coffee offerings and food menu
Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth service
Other duties as required.
Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic about coffee
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of customers
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work weekends and flexibility with scheduling
Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate
