Maco Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Mitcham VIC 3132. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician and assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work with industry‑leading technology and contribute to the growth and success of our innovative clean energy solutions business. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive electrical services to our residential and commercial clients.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years of full‑time experience as an electrician.
• No license required, as the role will be performed under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Daily Duties

• Diagnose and repair electrical problems safely and efficiently.
• Install, assemble, and maintain wiring systems, control panels, and electrical components.
• Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
• Position and install electrical switchboards.
• Select, cut and connect wire and cable to terminals and connectors.
• Set up electrical systems in new buildings, renovations, or industrial sites.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout systems.
