Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Iterate on the Foresight platform with a focus on front-end delivery.
  • Render designs from Figma accurately.
  • Build and maintain CI/DD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute towards DevOps and platform reliability.
  • Document technical processes and deliver work through sprint cycles.

Job description

At Foresight AI, we’re on a mission to help utilities optimise their water networks and support water resilience for generations to come. We build class‑leading prediction models and geospatial visualisations. We work with utilities in the UK and internationally, helping them better manage the delivery of water and wastewater services to millions of customers. We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help accelerate our growth following several years of co‑development of our core platform, Foresight, with water companies and leading water engineering universities. We’re backed by one of Europe’s leading VCs.

The Role

You’ll join our software team as an experienced engineer working across the stack using agile methodologies. You’ll work day‑to‑day with the Lead Software Engineer, alongside the data science and product teams, contributing directly to a production‑grade platform used by real‑world infrastructure operators.

  • Iteration of the Foresight platform across all submodules, with a slight bias towards front‑end delivery
  • Accurately rendering our Product Designer’s Figma designs on the front‑end
  • Building and maintaining CI/DD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
  • Contributing to DevOps, deployment automation, and platform reliability
  • Producing clear technical documentation
  • Delivering scoped work through sprint cycles using Jira
  • Strong knowledge of AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Aurora Serverless)
  • Experience with Docker‑based microservices using NestJS
  • PostgreSQL with PostGIS extensions
  • GeoJSON pipelines and REST APIs
  • Vue and Vite on the front end
  • Mapbox GL for GIS visualisation
  • Component‑driven TypeScript architecture

£60k‑65k base depending on experience with stock (See below)
