Job summary

A leisure centre in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a friendly and approachable Front of House Assistant. You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on activities and ensuring customers enjoy their visits. We're looking for someone who loves to help others and can resolve queries effectively. Experience in customer service is a plus, but we will provide training for the right candidate. Salary: National Minimum Wage (Listing: £12.21 per hour)

As a Front of house, you are friendly, approachable and a great listener. You are caring and enjoy helping others to visit the centre and stay active.

As our next Front of House, you’ll be efficient and instrumental in providing advice and guidance on activities on offer. You’re not the type to be unapproachable, provide poor advice, or create problems for others. What’s important to you is encouraging customers to take part in leisure activities and ensure they return with a smile. You enjoy taking action and want to resolve customer problems and queries. You will be given a regular pattern of working hours and shifts and the opportunity to progress via one of our fabulous training opportunities.

The Key Requirements

Ideally you will have experience in a customer facing role, however we can provide training and qualifications for the right candidate.
