Freelance Bookkeeper with Art Gallery Experience Required - One Day a Week

We are seeking a freelance bookkeeper for an art gallery in central London to work with a small team on a flexible, one-day-a-week basis.

Knowledge of Xero, Artlogic, margin scheme, and temporary admission is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and account reconciliation using Xero
• Oversee accounts payable: processing invoices, setting up BACS payments, authorizing payments
• Manage accounts receivable: generating sales invoices, monitoring and processing multi-currency payments
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Manage management accounts and cash flow
• Oversee annual audit and year-end financial reporting
