Job summary

A leading airline company in the UK is seeking a Fraud Analyst to join the Risk & Assurance team. The candidate will drive the development of fraud analytics, analyzing data to identify trends and recommending changes to policies and processes. Collaboration with external stakeholders is essential, along with strong analytical skills in tools like Tableau and SQL. A bonus structure and flexible benefits are offered. Responsibilities

  • Analyse data to identify threatening trends emerging.
  • Write, test and promote new rules to mitigate adverse fraud trends.
  • Support the Business Integrity & Fraud Prevention Manager in preparation of relevant data.
  • Recommend policy, process and procedural change evaluating impact on Fraud operations.
  • Assist in the evaluation and development of new fraud systems/exception reports.
  • Conduct regular reviews of Chargeback data to identify fraud hotspots.
  • Review efficiency of fraud rules and recommend changes.
  • Prepare KPI reports for the Fraud Risk & Revenue Protection Manager.
  • Present fraud evidence packs for identified organised crime.

Job description

This role sits within the Risk & Assurance team and reports into the Fraud Risk & Revenue Protection Manager. The team manages fraud risk for easyJet Group including easyJet holidays. Our purpose is to identify internal and external fraud across the business, to prevent these actions from causing financial and reputational damage to the business.

The team works with a number of external stakeholders including customers, banks, card schemes, fraud screening providers, regulators and law enforcement.

Role Overview

The purpose of the fraud Analyst is to drive the development of fraud analytics and provision of data driven intelligence for the Revenue Protection Lead Fraud Investigator and Fraud Risk & Revenue Protection Manager.

What you will do
  • Analyse data to identify threatening trends emerging
  • Write, test and promote new rules to mitigate adverse fraud trends
  • Support the Business Integrity & Fraud Prevention Manager in the preparation of relevant data required to support new initiatives or business cases.
  • Recommend policy, process and procedural change evaluating impact on Fraud operations
  • Assist in the evaluation and development of new fraud systems/exception reports
  • Carry out regular reviews of Chargeback data with the objective of identifying fraud hotspots
  • Undertake regular reviews of the efficiency of the suite of fraud rules in place and make recommendations for changes
  • Maintain and prepare KPI reports for the Fraud Risk & Revenue Protection Manager
  • Collate and present fraud evidence packs for identified organised crime (Card Fraud/Inflight)

Location and hours

This full-time role will be based in Luton, and will be 40 hours per week, with some occasional travel required.
