A leading children's support organization in North Yorkshire is seeking a Fostering Assessments Practice Supervisor. This part-time, permanent position focuses on fostering assessments and improving outcomes for local children. Are you an experienced Social Work professional with a passion for fostering and improving outcomes for children? Join our Fostering Service as a Practice Supervisor and help us continue our outstanding work in supporting local children in local placements.
The fostering service continues to embed its core values of providing and supporting local children in local placements. We are extremely proud of our Children and Families Ofsted report, rating us as ‘Outstanding’ in all provisions across our children’s social care services.
You will join a small, dedicated team of Social Work professionals who work within the wider fostering team. The focus of this team is on:
You’ll also collaborate with practice supervisors, team managers, support workers, and business support colleagues to deliver exceptional services.
In addition, you should be familiar with the statutory requirements of fostering assessments and the ongoing approval of foster carers.
The successful candidate will join a county fostering service committed to developing excellent practice in line with the National Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards.
Ongoing support from managers who will ensure you receive the relevant supervision and guidance throughout your role.
