A secondary education academy in Loughborough is looking for a passionate Football Coach to enhance football participation across its academies. The role involves delivering football sessions, managing teams, and engaging with students from various year groups. Candidates should have experience coaching football and a commitment to developing young talent. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational environment while running community football initiatives and annual tours.
We’re inviting applications for a passionate and hard‑working Football coach to work across two of our secondary academies, and wider across the Trust. This role will have responsibility for growing the football participation and provision across Charnwood College, including female and male year 7‑10, along with taking a lead on the Sixth Form development. On a Monday each week the coach will deliver Football at Lodge Park Academy in Corby throughout the school day, with after‑school squad sessions.
The role will work closely with the sports departments and Head of Sports Enrichment to ensure all football opportunities are promoted, delivered, reported and organised to a high standard throughout the school and Trust.
The post holder will also run community sessions on the Charnwood site on a Thursday evening (Charnwood Rangers), and support any football‑related initiatives delivered across the Trust including development days, tournaments and CPD. The post holder will have responsibility for planning, organising and attending our annual football tours, which have seen us visit Paris and the Netherlands in the past two years.
