Flexibility Structuring Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Contribute to Green Power Portfolio’s growth and actively shape the integration of new assets and technologies, like renewables, batteries, etc.
  • Support structuring and pricing of Flexibility and Renewables Assets like batteries to drive portfolio development with an explicit focus on the UK.
  • Enable the development of new Flexibility and Renewables products by providing insight from valuation and structuring perspective and liaise with relevant stakeholders (like Short‑term Trading & Dispatch, Risk, Sales, Origination)
  • Continuously develop models, tools and analytics necessary for Flexibility and Renewables structuring in close collaboration with Uniper functions like Quantitative Methods and Market Analytics
  • Successfully work within the Power team and with the Asset area on Flexibility related questions

Your profile

  • You have relevant working experience or excellent knowledge of short‑term power markets either as a trader or analyst (Day‑Ahead, Intraday, Ancillary Services) in the UK.
  • You know how to apply quantitative models for pricing and valuation of assets and contracts and have demonstrated your commercial acumen in previous roles.
  • You have experience in advanced data analytics (e.g. trading strategies, simulations, fundamental modelling) and naturally apply Uniper’s toolset (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
  • You are a team player with commercial acumen who can also work independently and effectively. Someone who enjoys working in a changing environment, brings expertise, and is eager to learn.
  • You have good communication skills and proven ability to interface and build strong relationships to other teams and stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in English, and German language skills are a plus.
