Job summary

A local fire and rescue service in Rotherham is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair their fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a recognised qualification in LGV/HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and experience with vehicle servicing. Full-time hours include a standby/call out rota. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Road Transport for classes 4, 5, 7 and LGV vehicles including vehicle maintenance standards.
  • Experience in repairs, maintenance, and servicing to both light and large goods vehicles.
  • LGV Driving License - class C minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake repairs, modifications, and maintenance to the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of both light and large goods vehicles.
  • Participate in a 24 hour standby/call out rota.
