Overview

Apollo Tyres Ltd is an international tyre manufacturer and the leading tyre brand in India. The company has multiple manufacturing units in India and a unit each in The Netherlands and Hungary. The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets.

Job Title: Fleet Account Manager - TBR

Location: Midlands and North of England

Reports to (Position): Country Sales Manager UK

Department/Function: Sales

Responsibilities
  • Fleet Focus: Gain new fleets, through visiting them and preparing the right value proposition for them.

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Work with the existing distribution network and identify new potential dealers by establishing, developing, and maintaining strong business and customer relationships.

  • Gather Market Insights: Conduct territory and market analyses, assess customer and competitor actions, and create a comprehensive territory map, including workshops, fleet support, tyre dealers, and key end-users.

  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Manage product trials, address potential claims, and represent the company at sector events to enhance customer experience.

  • Negotiate and Coordinate: Handle contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and marketing arrangements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Provide Expertise: Support the Sales team with specialised market knowledge and technical expertise in TBR (Truck, Bus and Radial).

Qualifications
  • You have minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the TBR tyre field.

  • You have a Fleet customer base that you have been managing.

  • You have a strong interest in automotive and tyre sector.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a professional attitude.

  • You are customer-oriented and have effective communication skills.

  • You feel comfortable with interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • You are comfortable with using software like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • You preferably live in Leeds or thereabouts and are open to travel in the region of Midlands and North of England.
