What will you be doing
  • Attend to Planned Preventative Maintenance calls as directed by team coordinators
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks according to established PPM programs
  • Document maintenance activities, identify potential problems, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Rectify all faults on the first visit where rectification is within your control
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
  • Collection/recording of site configuration information, ensuring that the Asset Register is correct
  • Maintain car stock (spares) levels

Locations: Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Farnborough, Reading, Luton, Northampton, Surrey, London (UK).

What we are looking for
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience installing or servicing (including Preventative Maintenance activities) a wide product base of access control systems, CCTV systems and intruder alarm systems
  • Experience of installing or servicing fire alarm systems servicing (including Preventative Maintenance activities), ideally GENT based
  • Knowledge of basic electrical principles such as measuring voltage and current drain
  • Good attention to detail to ensure paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales
  • An enthusiastic team player who can work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach at all times
  • Comfortable working irregular hours
Must haves
  • Must be able to pass BS7858 screening

  • Some government sites will require further screening
