Finishing Foreman – Ballycastle, NI

As GRAHAM continues to deliver high-quality public infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Foreman to join our team on the Ballycastle Leisure Centre project. This role is critical in ensuring the final stages of construction meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee finishing trades, coordinate site activities, and ensure that all works are completed to specification and programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate finishing works including joinery, painting, flooring, tiling, ceilings, partitioning, and final fix installations.
  • Oversee internal trades such as tiling, partitioning, suspended ceilings, mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations, brickwork, and blockwork.
  • Ensure all works are completed to the highest quality standards and in line with project specifications.
  • Take ownership of the air tightness strategy for the building, ensuring compliance with design and performance requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and snagging to ensure compliance and readiness for handover.
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors and direct labour during finishing phases.
  • Liaise with the client, design team, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Maintain site safety and cleanliness, enforcing health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare progress reports and updates for senior management.
  • Ensure timely completion of finishing works in line with project programme.
Essential Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finishing Foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of internal trades including tiling, partitioning, ceilings, M&E, brickwork, and blockwork.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver high-quality finishing works.
  • Experience with air tightness detailing and testing.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Health & Safety induction including Management system.
  • CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card.
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or site management.
  • Experience working on leisure or public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with airtightness testing protocols and standards.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Temporary Works Supervisor training.
