Our Team

Our Financial Services Regulation team has a truly internationalreach, advising a broad spectrum of financial institutions - includingfintechs, investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity funds - aswell as several government entities, on financial regulatory mattersacross the UK, US, and Middle East.

We work with our clients to solve some of the most complex challengesfacing the industry today, providing strategic advice on matters suchas risk, regulation, fund launches, and transformation projects.

We are looking for a talented lawyer to join our team and work oncutting-edge regulatory issues in a dynamic, fast-growing sector. Keyresponsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice on UK and EU financial services regulationacross various sectors including banking, payments, assetmanagement, and insurance.
  • Supporting regulatory compliance, licensing, and authorisation processes.
  • Monitoring and advising on regulatory developments impacting corefinancial services and innovative areas including digital assets andblockchain technology.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regulatory submissions,policies, and client communications.
  • Collaborating with teams across compliance, risk, operations, andproduct development to align regulatory strategy.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex regulatory projects with anemphasis on multi-jurisdictional issues.
  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments impactingdigital assets and broader financial services.

The role provides the opportunity to get involved in a variedworkload with plenty of scope for direct client contact. The role willsuit an outstanding lawyer with a commercial attitude along with aconfident and proactive approach, with good people skills, the abilityto work as a team player and evidence of ability to network.

You

We are looking for an exceptional lawyer, qualified in England &Wales, with between two and six years' post-qualification experience,and a strong understanding of core UK regulation (FCA, PRA) andfamiliarity with EU regimes.

Experience or demonstrable interest in digital assets,cryptocurrencies, or fintech regulation is desirable but not essential.

Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills areessential in this role.

You will have excellent academics and be coming from astronginternational practice. You will be highly motivated and eager todevelop long-lasting relationships, both internally and with clients,intermediaries and other firms in our market.
