Finance Director – Technology, Data & AI Solutions

XCM presently an SME business is seeking a commercially astute Finance Director to lead, scale, and future-proof its finance function as we enter an exciting new phase of growth.

XCM deliver leading solutions & services through our Customer Data platform (CDP), delivering clients technology, data intelligence & marketing execution with exponential results. Now, we are recruiting a finance leader who can match our ambition with the same precision, agility, and innovation we offer our customers.

As part of the Operating Board of Directors, this is a high-impact, hands-on role with responsibility for core financial administration & reporting, strategy, and investment planning. You will act as a trusted partner delivering financial insight & opportunities to key commercial and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance for a scaling a CDP business.
• Develop and enhance FP&A capabilities, including KPI frameworks that reflect the growth drivers
• Shape and deliver the company’s financial strategy, including investment planning, capital allocation, and scenario modelling.
• Manage audit, tax, treasury, investor relations, and other external stakeholder relationships.
• Strengthen financial systems, processes, and automation to support rapid, international expansion.
• Partner with leadership to drive commercial insight, assess growth opportunities, and guide pricing and monetisation strategies.

About You:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, ideally within a tech/data-led business.
• Ambitious to be an FD or existing FD applicable
• Desired commercial finance experience with a track record of driving growth, managing investment, and influencing strategic direction.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders, including investors and the Board.
• Hands-on operator with Management Accounts, Sage and financial automation tools is a key advantage.
