  • Support external and internal audit processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with other finance teams to mitigate risk.
  • Support in the preparation of tax computations.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as defined by the UK Financial Controller.

Purpose of the Role

The Financial Accountant will be a key member of the Financial Control team – participating fully in all areas of financial control and compliance with a particular focus on financial reporting, technical accounting,

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination of fixed asset accounting and reconciliation
  • IFRS16 lease accounting
  • Preparation and change control of statutory accounts
  • Drive high-quality, timely balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues proactively
  • Support external and internal audit processes
  • Provide expert guidance on accounting standards, company law, and HMRC regulations, and share relevant updates across the business.
  • Collaborate with other finance teams and the wider business to mitigate risk
  • Support in the preparation of tax computations
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as defined by the UK Financial Controller
  • As you will expect the organisation may change from time to time and you will be expected to meet the operational requirements.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required from time to time.
