Position Overview

We’re seeking a credible, experienced Finance Transformation Lead (individual contributor) to build a tech‑enabled global finance organization that keeps pace with our hyper‑growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will scale processes, controls, reporting, and data to public‑company calibre across multiple concurrent workstreams.

You’ll handle technical accounting projects, build robust financial models, and support M&A and fundraising. Partnering closely with Internal Audit, you will remediate findings and act as the bridge between assurance and delivery. Freed from line management and day‑to‑day operations, this connector role across Finance and the wider business relies on influence, pace, and outcomes. It is suited for someone with high intellect and drive who wants to supercharge their career in a hyper‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
Systems, Processes and Data
  • Implement detailed, automated balance‑sheet reconciliation processes fit for high‑volume B2B2C and MVNE activity.
  • Evolve Order‑to‑Cash (including B2B2C and MVNE) as part of the broader scaling agenda.
Technical Accounting, M&A, and External‑Grade Reporting
  • Lead IFRS 15 topics (principal/agent, multi‑element arrangements, etc.), draft position papers and pre‑clear with auditors.
  • Design the optimal statutory reporting set‑up in light of a major corporate reorganisation, including entity structure, consolidation approach and disclosures.
  • Maintain policy library and risk matrices; run quarterly "dry‑run" external reporting packs as we gear toward IPO readiness.
  • Support diligence, QoE and IFRS 3 purchase accounting.
Controls, Internal Audit and Close
  • Design and help implement SOX standard controls across O2C, P2P and R2R.
  • Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Internal Audit on testing and own remediation to closure with clear owners and timelines.
  • Standardise reconciliations, reduce manual journals, and compress month‑end close to ≤5 business days.
Relationship Building & Cross‑Functional Influence
  • Serve as the inter‑ and intra‑Finance bridge across Controllership, FP&A, Systems/Engineering, RevOps, Legal/Tax and Commercial.
  • Build credibility with senior stakeholders; convert ambiguity into decisions, owners and timelines.
  • Establish clear operating cadences (steer‑co/stand‑ups) with crisp updates and risk/decision logs.
Requirements
Must Have
  • ACA/ACCA (or equivalent); top‑tier grounding from practice plus scale‑up delivery experience.
  • Proven process/control build and systems fluency (NetSuite or similar; billing/CRM integrations; PRD writing; UAT).
  • Strong IFRS 15; multi‑entity/multi‑currency; exposure to IFRS 3 and consolidations.
  • Hands‑on M&A and fundraising support (diligence/QoE, PPA, integration).
  • Track record influencing senior stakeholders and landing outcomes at pace.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work at pace.
Nice to Have
  • Telco/MVNE/MVNO domain experience.
  • Exposure to IPO readiness and public‑company controls/reporting.
  • Advanced data skills (SQL/Python, BI) for diagnostics and monitoring.
Benefits
  • Growth Opportunities: Advance your career in one of the fastest‑growing telecommunications companies, expanding over 100% year‑on‑year.
  • Major Transaction Exposure: Driver of transactions that shape the future telco industry.
  • Work with a Talented Team: Daily collaboration with Board, Founders, Senior Management, and renowned external advisors.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Fast‑paced, collaborative workplace where innovation is encouraged.
  • Professional Development: Enhance skills and knowledge alongside industry experts.
  • International Experience: Work in different 1GLOBAL offices worldwide as you grow within the company.
  • Open Communication Culture: Ideas heard, open dialogue encouraged, fostering a supportive environment.
  • Get Things Done Attitude: Results‑driven team valuing efficiency, creativity, and tangible impact.

1GLOBAL is an equal opportunity employer; we value your character as much as your talent. Diversity drives our innovation, and we offer a collaborative, dynamic, and international work environment. We are excited for you to join our mission to revolutionise connectivity globally.
