A charitable organization in the UK is seeking a co-opted member for its Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. The ideal candidate will possess investment portfolio experience and relevant qualifications to support ethical governance and financial accountability. This role entails aiding trustees in overseeing financial responsibilities and ensuring the charity's viability. If you have a background in investment management and are eager to contribute your specialized skills, we encourage you to apply.
At WWT, we are looking for someone with investment portfolio experience to join our Finance, Audit and Risk Committee (FARCom) as a co‑opted member.
By providing knowledge and specialist skills to our FARCom, you will help to ensure short and long term viability for the charity.
We are looking for people with either a relevant qualification or experience to support FARCom in its responsibilities. We are particularly looking to add investment management experience to our committee. WWT has a significant investment portfolio and we seek someone who can help the committee to hold investment managers to account, and to support the committee and our Board with their financial and ethical investment responsibilities.
Our Council of Trustees are responsible for overseeing our strategic direction and managing our finances, resources and risk. The FARCom plays a crucial role in supporting trustees to do this. As a co‑opted committee member, you will bring your specialist skills and knowledge to bear, helping to ensure short and long term viability for the charity. Co‑opted members are not trustees, but play a crucial role in enabling good governance.
