Job summary

A financial services provider in Lincoln is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, maintaining strong financial control, and assisting with budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, be progressing through a financial qualification, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications

  • Strong numerical and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft suites including Excel.
  • Able to manage workload in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Assist with year-end statutory accounts and audits.
  • Support completion of annual budgets and reforecasts.
  • Monitor daily cashflow forecasts.
