Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Welding Inspector, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (AS/NZS 1554, ASME Section IX, API 1104, etc.).
  • Experienced in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and interpreting inspection results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and non-destructive weld inspections to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Review welding procedures, welder qualifications, and Inspection Test Plans.
  • Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate welding records.
