We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters to join our QLD Talent Pool conducting Maintenance activities across our Remote Village Accommodations. These positions will be FIFO from Brisbane Airport or DIDO if you live near to site. Sites are located in Middlemount, Moura, Moranbah, Reedy Creek, Spring Gully, Emerald areas. Applicants available now are encouraged to apply. Work will be either 14 or 7 days on site, with a minimum of 7 days RNR after each swing.

THE POSITION

• Report to Delta FM Hub Scheduling Team
• Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes
• Reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice

THE PERSON

• Australian Recognised Carpentry Trade Certificate III or equivalent
• Full C Class Manual Drivers Licence & White Card
• Provide a National Police Check (within 12 months)
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Advantageous: S11 & Coal Board Medical, CS, WAH, HRWL
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
