Qualifications

Field Service Engineer - West Lancashire/Greater Manchester/Merseyside

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and help us to provide the highest quality repair and maintenance service to a select range of company and third‑party products in an efficient and professional manner. This role is remote and will be based in West Lancashire/Greater Manchester/Merseyside.

What you will be doing in this role

As a Field Service Engineer you will demonstrate exceptional customer‑relation and interpersonal skills while working with a variety of customers, from vulnerable to elderly, and maintaining and testing equipment in their homes.

The ideal candidate

To be successful you will have proven experience as a Field Engineer, using your electrical and electronic experience to help maintain/test a variety of products such as Emergency Lights, Fire Systems and a variety of our electrical/electronic products.

Key skills and experience
  • An Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Full Category B UK driving licence (for manual vehicles).
  • Experience of testing Fire Systems.
  • Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective team working.
  • Effective time management & planning skills.
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience of working with the elderly or vulnerable.
