Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Conduct service visits to address reported calls and maintain high standards of professional service support.
  • Respond to customer service requests for repair of business equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs through adjustments, cleaning, or spare parts replacement.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines and service management recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, provide detailed reports on work completed, and ensure acceptance of equipment condition and performance post-service.
  • Install equipment sold by the company and ensure optimal performance to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers to maximise equipment efficiency and prevent operational errors.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables to support service operations.

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is fully remote and home-based with periodic attendance at offices for meetings and training.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience as an engineer on MFD printers
  • IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and set up scanning functions
  • Strong customer service skills with previous customer-facing experience
  • Experience in a target-driven environment
  • Smart and presentable at all times
  • Willingness to undertake training on new product lines, such as laptops and PCs
