A leading engineering services company is looking for a Field Based Service Engineer in the Southeast of England. Responsibilities include routine servicing, diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should have experience in hydraulics and electrical systems, along with strong customer service skills. Flexibility in working hours is essential. A company vehicle and uniform will be provided.
We are looking for a Field Based Service Engineer for the Southeast of England covering:
Working under minimum supervision, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for helping maintain Customer vehicles to our high standards of repair. The role will entail working on 3.5T-7.0T commercial vans or chassis cab/Unimog truck vehicles or other vehicles as required.
Occasionally working unsociable hours, early starts and late finishes being likely.
The Field Service Engineer will need to have electrical and hydraulic experience, to provide on-site (Customer’s premises) technical expertise and support and to be able to deal with any corrective or preventative works.
Delivering an excellent customer service whilst maintaining a professional approach to customers and colleagues at all times.
Your normal contractual hours of work are 40 per week:
7.00am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Hours and days of work may be subject to alteration depending upon the requirements of the business and you will be required to be completely flexible about your working hours and days.
A fully equipped Company vehicle and uniform will be provided along with 24 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays.
