About Us

At We Power Your Car, we are leading the way in the electric vehicle (EV) revolution. As a full-service EV charger supply and installation company, we provide expert solutions for both domestic and commercial clients. Based in Yorkshire and operating nationwide, we’re growing rapidly in an exciting, future-focused industry. Now, we’re looking for a driven and experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee our part of our field operations and help us shape the future of EV charging.

The Role

As Field Operations Manager, you will lead a team of around 16 field engineers, ensuring installations are completed in line with business targets, SLAs and to the highest standards while maintaining compliance and safety across all operations.

You’ll act as a key link between our engineers, head office, and senior leadership — driving performance, fostering a positive team culture, ensuring our partners and customers receive exceptional service.

This is a varied and hands-on role, requiring regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and the flexibility to balance site visits, remote working, and office time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled engineers across your region
  • Set performance targets and work closely with your team to deliver results
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, audits, and personal development plans (PDPs)
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for field staff
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards through site visits and inspections
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise efficiency and resource allocation
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures, working with Qualified Supervisors to maintain standards
  • Support the wellbeing and professional growth of your field team
About You
  • Has proven experience managing skilled field-based engineers (essential)
  • Brings a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a focus on results
  • Is an inspiring leader who can motivate, support, and develop a dispersed team to maximise results
  • Possesses excellent communication skills to liaise with both senior management and office-based teams
  • Delivers outstanding customer service and always maintain professionalism
  • Holds a full UK driving license and is DBS-checked (required)
  • Holds (or is working towards) a recognised health & safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable)
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary starting from £45,000 DOE
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Your birthday off
  • Company car allowance, laptop/phone, and workwear provided
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities
  • The chance to join a dynamic, ambitious business in a fast-growing and future-focused industry

If you’re ready to take on a leadership role in a rapidly expanding company and play a key part in driving the EV revolution, we’d love to hear from you.
