About Nicola

Nicola, born in 1991, lives at home with her parents and 1 pet dog. The family all have a good sense of humour. She is a very sociable lady, and her interests include supporting her local football team, Nottingham Forest. She is also keen on shopping for books, enjoying meals out, social events, listening to music on her headphones and playing console games.

Nicolas sustained a birth injury in 1991 which resulted in quadriparesis with marked increase in tone and a moderate learning disability. Nicola is a full‑time wheelchair user and is dependent on others to meet her care needs. She communicates verbally (with a limited vocabulary) and has the cognitive ability to make simple choices on a daily basis.
